Fifty years is not a milestone. They are a solid base from which to restart every day.

Founded in 1973 in the heart of Brianza, Italy, SLIM was born from the initiative of six electromechanical and lighting professionals. Since then, the path has been guided by the desire to innovate, listen to the market and grow together with our customers.

Today, with more than half a century of history behind us, we continue to face the challenges of the present with the same energy as then. But with one more awareness: our experience and ability to adapt to the market are our true competitive advantage.

🔦 From neon and switches... to customized lighting solutions

Founded as the Mercury Switch Lamp Company, SLIM has gone through all the major stages of technological evolution in the field of light signaling:

• Introduction of plastic molding in the 1970s;
• participation in international trade fairs (Cologne, Paris, Madrid, Hanover);
• adoption of LED technology starting in the early 2000s;
• development of fiber optic solutions and customized LED modules in recent years.

We have transformed light signals from simple indicators to true elements of design, functionality, and safety.

🧬 Continuity and vision: two generations in dialogue

Today SLIM is led by the second generation, a new leadership that has been able to enhance the legacy of the founders, integrating it with a modern vision oriented to managerialization, sustainability and active relationship with customers and partners.

The organization has evolved dynamically, investing in:

• Numerical control systems for production;
• 3D printers for rapid prototyping;
